Visiting The National Police Museum

The museum was inaugurated in July 2009, it keeps the traces of historical existence of Indonesian National Police since it was first established until today. Photo archives, vehicles, weaponry, until miniatures depicting incidents which involving police investigations are also kept in this museum.

Children are welcome to visit this museum, for sure they will have a lot of fun to feel the thrill of being policemen. On the first floor there are collections of vehicles and weapons that were used by the police. The fun part is they are allowed to touch, get in to the vehicle, and also try out the police uniform that was intentionally provided for the children. You may ask the friendly staff who will help visitors for any help needed.

On the second floor, there’s Kid’s Corner which have some interactive computers and various props playing simulation of police duties such as taking fingerprints or playing as detective. There is also a mini library containing books related to the police for children and teenagers.

Next on the third floor, there are rooms for discussion or group activity. There is also exhibition about type of bombs that were used by terrorists.
